Colt Pocket Positive Serial Number 108963, .32 Police
caliber with 2 1/2" barrel and special order cutoff hammer.
The hammer modification is like that done to John Henry
Fitzgerald or "Fitz" factory modified Colt models as they
are known to both shooters and collectors. On this example,
the trigger guard has not been cut away.Factory blue
finish with checkered hard rubber grips. Colt factory
indicates that this revolver was one of six shipped on
February 1, 1923. Sold to Beckley Hardware & Supply
Company, address unavailable and was shipped to Belknap
Hardware & Mfg Company, Louisville, Kentucky. It was
processed on Colt factory order number 7046/6.
