Factory Cutaway


Colt Model N Factory Cutaway -  Blued finish with the earliest slide markings, terminating with the December 22, 1903 patent date. This cutaway came from a family of three generations of Colt employees.  Both sides have been cutaway to expose the internal workings of the pistol.  Pictured with the cutaway are two original roll dies that were used to apply the left side slide markings.  The roll dies are sitting on top of a gauge used for checking the magazine well of the gun..
