Colt 1908 Vest Pocket .25 ACP serial number 363415 - Pistol is factory nickel plated and is fitted with original factory flush medallion machine checkered walnut stocks (ca. 1929). Pistol bears an aftermarket inscription "E.R. Netz, Deputy Sheriff" on the grip safety. The Colt historical letter confirms that this Colt was shipped with nickel finish to the County of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Charles Rickenbach, Sheriff on May 1, 1929 in a one gun shipment.
Eugene Richard Netz (1900 - 1960) served as Deputy Sheriff with the Milwaukee County Courthouse, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
