Colt Police Positive - Collector's Information, .32  Police Cartridge, Serial Number 103917

Early Colt Police Positive Serial Number 103917 with 4" barrel - Factory nickel finish  with fire blue small parts and recessed medallion mother of pearl grips.  Colt factory letter confirms that this revolver was shipped to M.L. Cooke, address unavailable, on August 13, 1912 as a single gun shipment.

Marked on top of barrel:

COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A.
PAT'D AUG. 5, 1884, JUNE 5, 1900, JULY 4, 1905

Early Colt Police Positive Serial Number 103917 with 4" barrel - right side.  Revolver is fitted with Colt factory recessed medallion mother of pearl grips.  Front sight is standard early rounded type.  The trigger and rear of the hammer are fire blued.
