Colt Police Positive Serial Number 142051 with 4" barrel
(ca. 1918) - Factory nickel finish, flush medallion
checkered walnut grips (grips post-date the gun). Barrel is
marked "Police Positive 32 Police CTG". Colt Police
Positive sn 142051 is inscribed 'Detroit Police" on the
backstrap and "No. 2041" on the butt. Colt Factory Letter
indicates nickel finish, type of stocks not listed, engraved
"Detroit Police” on the backstrap and "2041" on butt.
Revolver was shipped to Joseph A. Marks & Co, Detroit,
Michigan, June 25, 1917 – 39 guns in shipment.
